With the county’s last stronghold fallen Wartales, The Skelmar Invasion and its defenders scattered, it’s up to you to rescue the Countess, rally the survivors, and free each barony to push back the Skelmar horde. You’ll be right in the middle of a brutal battle to reclaim Ormance and save Edoran from total destruction. Ready to take it back?

Every place you come across is in ruins, overrun by the Skelmars, and totally messed up by war. The Skelmars have taken over every stronghold and key location, and the rest are trashed and useless until you kick the invaders out.

To free each barony, you’ll need to take down the Skelmar stronghold at its core and bring the land back to life. As you push forward, local allies will step up to help, and you can rebuild destroyed areas by using materials to make them fully functional again, giving your war effort a boost. But as long as the stronghold is under Skelmar control, the barony will stay occupied.

In areas you’ve freed, you can recruit local factions to join your fight. Each location has something valuable to offer, like extra supplies from farms or military backup from watchtowers. Choose wisely and build a solid resistance network. Every area you free makes your War Effort stronger, so each choice you make is a big step toward taking Ormance back.

You’ve got three main resources to keep track of:

• Manpower to recruit skilled local fighters.
• Construction Materials to rebuild key infrastructure.
• Supplies to keep your forces fed and ready for battle.

Sieging strongholds will be epic, with each battle split into two phases. First, gather your forces and face off against the enemy’s front-line defenders. Your allies might already be fighting at this point. Break through the gates to let your troops in.

Once the gates fall, it’s time to push through the fortress’s heart, wipe out the enemy forces inside, and take down their leader. Watch out for the WatchTowers, though—they’ll be raining arrows down on you until you take them out. It’s time to strike back and reclaim Ormance from the Skelmars!
