You start as a mysterious patient evacuated by the CDC from their lab in Atlanta, saved by the good people of a shelter in a small town down south.  And in the end, you’ll have to survive the massive horde coming for your town after they destroyed Atlanta.

REAL BALLISTICSIn Urban Strife, you’ll get the classic weapon types you’d expect in a southern US city: handguns, shotguns, hunting rifles, assault rifles, and sniper rifles.  If you can find the expensive ammo, assault rifles bring devastating power. And targeting specific body parts with sniper rifles or hunting rifles can deliver deadly or crippling shots.

MELEE ATTACK MODESWhen it comes to close combat, anything that can be wielded as a weapon can be used.

RPG ELEMENTSThe world is filled with NPCs trying to survive the apocalypse, each with their own agenda. Some will help you—if you help them first. In Urban Strife, three main factions are fighting for control: army rebels, a zombie-loving cult, and a gang of bikers. You can align with any faction, but every choice comes with its challenges and no path is morally easy.

SURVIVAL MECHANICSYou’ll find the Urban Shelter in ruins, packed with refugees and surrounded by bandits and zombies.  Scavenge resources, repair the shelter, and hire specialists to get things back in shape. The allies you make will unlock unique upgrades, helping you improve the shelter and make survival a bit easier.

OLD-SCHOOL TBS (WITH A TWIST)Urban Strife uses a classic Action Points system (think Jagged Alliance 2), with turns based on skills and interruptions. But we’ve added a twist to avoid the usual TBS grind, especially with zombies, who are numerous and slow. So, we introduced a special turn for the horde, where all zombies move at the same time, but each AI can still make its own decisions. It keeps the gameplay fast-paced and exciting, even when you’re outnumbered.
