Step into Yurushi, Earth’s largest city, as a young engineer recently fired by the Niven Megacorporation. Like millions of others, you’re forced to move back to the Saitama Slums, a wasteland full of the so-called “useless classes”—people who’ve been made unemployable by AI-powered robots. But things take a turn when you’re recruited by Red Ludd, a charismatic leader who’s building a resistance against this mass obsolescence—aka the Luddites.

In Luddite, you and your crew will use your engineering skills to hack into these robots and disable them. It’s all about getting revenge for being tossed aside and giving hope to the millions of workers who are next. But watch out—the mega-corporations didn’t rise to the top by playing nice. If you’re caught sabotaging, the system won’t go easy on you.

The game follows the story of a custom graphic novel, packed with stunning art by Adam Beachey. You can play solo or team up with others in both cooperative and competitive modes. The campaign can be reset and played over and over again with an unlimited number of players. Luddite mixes classic roll-and-write mechanics with a push-your-luck system, where you’ll race against the clock to mess up the AI systems and escape before the countermeasures kick in.
