Players are able to join in groups of 1-4 to explore the haunted Lowell Orphanage and cast out evil spirits, while discovering its troubled past. The game’s story-based experience is spread across four chapters, of which the first two are in early access and the last two will be released soon. Embark on the journey with four friends as they descend into the ruins of the orphanage, where there lies a dark history of tortured children and unresolved mystery.

In Lost Lullabies The Orphanage Chronicles  every ghost you find has a sad history to reveal, and the way to exorcise them is by solving puzzles connected to their history. You need to identify the type of ghost infesting the orphanage first, and then solve clues about their past in order to conduct the exorcism. With 18 various ghosts and many puzzles to solve every encounter presents a new and frightening challenge. The atmosphere of the game is made haunting through its realistic graphics, which put players at the center of the charred remains of the orphanage and the foggy, eerie streets of Lowell.

The game boasts a dynamic ever-changing map that alters for each play session, making each experience unique. As the players progress through the chapters and complete puzzles, new parts of the orphanage are opened up, most of which are dark and cramped, heightening the fear factor. Players also get to use 24 various pieces of equipment to identify and research the ghosts including voice interaction that allows players to talk to the spirits. In addition there’s also a mysterious character, the Shady Dealer, who hovers in the orphanage willing to exchange trinkets discovered throughout your investigation.
