But Sasha wasn’t afraid of anything. She wanted answers, and there was only one place those answers were waiting. She was dead set on going, and you never thought she’d do it without you.

Twelve sleepless nights later, you finally get the call. Tax found someone, a shady border security guy looking to make a quick buck. He can get you clearance—a two-hour window to fly into the zone, find Sasha, and get the hell out.

You head into the exclusion zone, but something’s off. Your nav’s going haywire, and you’re losing altitude. Then, suddenly, the sky lights up with blinding white. The dashboard goes dead, and your hovercraft drops like a rock, smashing onto the cracked pavement below.

You wake up to the smell of burning electronics, rain hammering on the shattered windshield. Around you, the ruins of what used to be homes.
