Welcome to Granny’s house.

Granny’s got you locked up, and she’s not letting you out. You wake up in a dark room with a pounding headache like someone just smacked you. The only thing lighting up the place is a flashlight on the table.

The front door’s all locked up with multiple locks, so now you’ve gotta search the house for keys and other stuff to get out. But be careful—Granny hears everything. Drop something, step on a creaky floorboard, and she’ll come running to check it out. Plus, watch out for her bear traps and whatever creepy stuff might be lurking in the shadows, like her pets. You can hide in closets or coffins, but don’t get caught, or she’ll find you.

There’s another way to escape, though. Down in the garage, there’s an old car. If you manage to get it started and open the garage door, you can make your getaway that way.

You can also fight back with one of two weapons you’ll find in the house, but they only hold Granny off for a little while. Still, it’s better than nothing.

There are five difficulty levels: Extreme, Hard, Normal, Easy, and Practice. If you pick Practice mode, you’re in the house without Granny and can mess around with stuff without too much trouble, though there are still some dangers lurking.

Granny gives you five days to escape, but if you do something nice for her, she might give you an extra day. Fail to get out by the end? Well, you probably know what happens next.
