It’s been 10 years since This War of Mine was released, and its message still hits hard. In October 2024, the game even got a Special Recognition Award from Amnesty International. But, unfortunately, the world hasn’t become any more peaceful since it launched in 2014. So instead of throwing a big party, we’ve decided to mark this anniversary by doing something meaningful. This War of Mine: Forget Celebrations is a DLC with a brand-new story, special items, and, most importantly, a chance to help people who need it.

Jump back into the besieged city of Pogoren with Katia, a war correspondent you might remember from the original game. This time, the story kicks off with Katia trying to write a book about the horrors of war. But then a missile hits her home, forcing her work to come to a halt. Severely injured, she waits for a rescue team from her publisher. Before they get there, you’ll need to help her search for her missing book materials while trying to survive in the chaos of a war-torn city.
